I wanted to pass along to my weekly sermon writing template that I personally created. This helps me not to start from a blank slate, but to think creatively within categories that will ultimately develop a Gospel-centered sermon for my students from God’s Word. I pray this is as helpful for you as it has been for me.
Feel free to download it, change it up, and make it your own.
(You will see some names that I’ve listened to for years. I’ve listened to some for theology and some for communication. If they are in my template, I do not necessarily endorse their theology or ministry.)
We call this series “So Many Emojis: Riding the Relational Roller Coaster” because a relationship with God can be a crazy ride filled with many different emotions! Take Isaac’s life for instance when God called for his death by his own father. What are we even supposed to do with that? But God called for this sacrifice in order to bring a bigger blessing! Check out to see what all this means, how it applies to the Gospel, and what it means for our lives.
February is definitely the month of LOVE. We’re getting tons of hits from people searching for youth sermons on love, relationships, dating, purity, gender roles, marriage, etc. So I thought I’d compile our top 14 all in one post. Here ya go!
Youth pastors, looking for a great Christmas sermon or series of sermons for this busy holiday season? Feel free to look through these and rip us off. We just want to be a blessing and give what God has given to us! So here you go. Consider it an early Christmas gift from CBSM!
