Imagine 150ish teenagers getting together to go crazy in worshiping Jesus and then to get quiet in hearing from His Word. Our night together in Acts 2 was insane! At the start of the new year, I believed God was leading us to take a look at the start of His church in Acts 2, and then the start of our year as a student ministry in 2011. Listen in to see what we believe are God’s plans for CBSM in 2011.

I’m still thanking God for the strong start He gave us last week in our new series of Psalms “Apps for iWorship.” I was super impressed that after stripping away all the flash and “fun”…our students responded so eagerly with the 90 minutes of focused worship onto Christ! We’ll continue our super-focused series this week with Psalm 8 “iWorship: as Humanity”. I already can’t wait to see what God is going to do in our lives thorugh it!

CBSM students, parents, and leaders:
I just got back from a BASIC Mission Trip planning meeting in Detroit last weekend, and it went great!  If you are going to BASIC this summer with us in Detroit, you are going to LOVE it!  If you are going to BASIC in the coming years…its going to get even better every year!  Aight, so for this week…we’ll be finishing up our series on the Doctrine of Providence.  It will be a strong challenge to end it out…just warning you!  Also remember to get in your Beach Camp deposit and registration super soon.  Your all-nighter registration and $40 is due April 11.  And if you’re wanting to go on BASIC or ADVANCE mission trips this summer…you’ll need to talk to me.  Lastly, remember that this Sunday is Easter Sunday!  Our service schedule is different.  We’ll have TWO worship services: at 8am and 11am.  Coming to either one is fine, but if you can’t decide then just come at 8am to make more room for the 11am visitor crowd.  Our Sunday School Small Groups will be at 9:45am (one time change for Easter only), and we’ll all stay in the student building for some worship and Q&A from the Doctrine of Providence.  Make sure to email me your questions from this series, and I’ll answer them this Sunday.
