I’ve always heard that Christian teenagers have two main questions: How do I know if I’m really saved? And, what is God’s will for my life? This study is designed to put the first question to rest and offer assurance. As their youth pastor, I really wanted to teach this in a non-confrontational, non-emotional, and non-freaky-scary way. I’ve seen too many pastors make people doubt their salvation, so I wanted to just present the facts and let the Spirit do the work. Once you take a look or a listen, let me know what you think!

There are so many wrong views on how a Christian is supposed to grow. In this study, we talk about 6 ways that people get it wrong, and 4 ways that the Bible teaches us. Did you know that many people even get the point of spiritual growth wrong? When you get the point wrong, then you get the way wrong! So check this out and learn from Romans on how to grow spiritually once you’re saved!

What do I do for my salvation? So many people get the gospel wrong, the essentials for salvation wrong, and God’s whole goal of salvation wrongly. I believe there is one essential part of salvation missing in the gospel being presented today that leaves people unsaved…even when they think they are. You can find that out and more in this super important study on conversion, salvation, and the gospel.

I think a huge question people wonder about is, “What makes a sin…a sin?” In other words, why are all these things sins? What makes them so bad and so wrong? Why is God so offended by them? What is a good definition for sin? Are all sins found in the Bible, or are there others that are out there? This week’s study will help you answer all those questions. But most of all, our prayer is that this series will help us become less sinful and more worshipful to Jesus. So check this study out, and we pray it will help your walk with Him!

We are kicking off this brand spanking new summer series on the Doctrines of Sin and Salvation. Its so interesting that God planned to kick off this series on sin at the start of our summer. Everyone knows the summer usually has way more opportunity for sin in so many different ways. This first study is on the origin of sin or “Where did sin come from?” We believe that its important to know where sin came from so that you can know where its going to take you. We hope you’re following after Jesus and not sin!

Over 10 years ago, I had the privilege of doing a youth ministry internship, Patrick McGoldrick. I learned an incredible amount of youth ministry ideas, tools, methods, and truths. Over the last 10 years, Patrick has always been a phone call away from me. He has always given me his time, his listening ear, and his best advice on youth ministry and life. I have always appreciated Patrick as my good friend and youth ministry mentor. This last December I got a call from a mutual friend of Patrick’s that he had been diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease). Patrick is taking on this deadly disease as a Godly man of strength and honor. Its incredible to watch his joy increase as his body fails. As you could imagine, tons of churches are calling Patrick up to come and speak for them. We have been blessed to be one of the first to hear his incredible message of his testimony of salvation and suffering. You will absolutely love this sermon, be moved, and you will worship our God who saves and allows us to suffer for His glory!

Because humanity has been created and cursed, humanity must now be saved. God has had a phenomenal plan since eternity past to send Jesus to fully become a man while remaining fully God. Jesus had to become a man in order to be the Savior of the world. He could not come as only God. He could not come like Aslan the Lion in Naria. He had to share in flesh and blood with human beings in order to die in their place. This CBSM study is all about why we should feel both insignificant and significant, why we should see Jesus as the reason to why God created us, and why Jesus had to become human in order to be our death and resurrection. This study should answer so many questions for students today who are struggling with insignificance, sin, and a need for salvation.
