This was probably my favorite sermon to preach ever! Revelation 19 is the climax of all the Bible. Its where everything leads up to. Its where are the promises and prophecies are fulfilled. Its where every story points toward. This is the return/second coming of Jesus. And trust me, it will be very different than you think!

We are all caught up in a Kingdom! A Kingdom is a culture, a people, a place, with a King who is ruling over it all. Everyone has a culture they are living out. Everyone has a people they identify with most. Everyone has a place they loved to be with most. Everyone has someone they love to live for in their life in order to please. Kingdom is also a huge them found throughout the Scriptures. From the beginning to the end, God is constantly pronouncing, introducing, and fulfilling His kingdom through Christ. This message will help you identify your kingdom, and it will encourage you to live in and for the Kingdom of Christ!

We about got our butts kicked! I remember walking the beaches of Pensacola as an 18 year old college freshman with about 5 other buddies. We walked up to a huge pack of about 80 college kids who went to the University of West Florida. One of the smallest guys came out of the crowd asking if we wanted to play football. “Let’s do it,” we said. About then, 5 honking-huge dudes stood up, and walked out to play against us. At this point, we just wanted to play hard enough not to look stupid. After many cheap shots, the crowd cussing at us, and a bloody nose…we decided to forfeit to avoid a fight.

I wonder how many times we as Christians do that spiritually. We feel that the enemy is too huge, the persecution is too great, and the fight is too hard…so we forfeit and let the enemy win. We have got to remember that we’re in a spiritual battle vs. sin. Continue reading

“The best way to spread Christmas cheer is to sing loud that all may hear.” Elf, Fred Claus, and even Talladega Nights are all movies that reveal how our culture and society views Christmas. Everywhere the world turns, they see a nativity scene with baby Jesus lying there. I often wonder if they think we believe in baby worship. What do they think when we lead our children to sing Happy Birthday to baby Jesus? What about you? How do you picture Jesus over Christmas? Is He just a cute, cuddly, fat, and pudgy baby? Or, is He the King of Kings and Lord of Lords of your life and this world? Continue reading
