CBSM Sermon Video – “Best Book Ever: Will it really change my life?”
This is the last sermon in our “Best Book Ever” series. Booooo! So I wanted to conclude it as powerfully as possible…and the INFALLIBILITY of Scripture was perfect for that! Infallibility does not mean “no fallacies” or no mistakes. Rather, infallibility means that Scripture will not fail to accomplish what God promises it will accomplish. So this is talking about the power of Scripture, the ability of God’s Word to change our lives, etc. This is huge because the ultimate purpose of Scripture is not merely to be read or preached, but we read and preach the Scriptures so that we are equipped to live our lives powerfully with, through, and for Jesus. So here you go, one last sermon on Best Book Ever, all about the Infallibility of Scripture in the lives of students.
CBSM Sermon Video – “Best Book Ever: Is it really all I need to read?”
We had such a crunk night for this message! We played one of our favorite games “Alabama Snowball Fight”, sang some of our favorite songs, and the students really seemed to get the importance of the Sufficiency of Scripture. If you’re someone that needs help in teaching or that needs help in being strengthened in the areas of personal devotions, understanding that Scripture is enough, understanding doctrine, understanding sin, understanding how to correct sin, and understanding how to live in righteousness…then this message is for you!
CBSM Sermon Video – “Best Book Ever: Is it really all true?
Our goal on this night night was to train, equip, and prepare our students to defend the INERRANCY (absolute truthfulness) of Scripture now and when the heat gets turned up in college. The Bible is inerrant (without errors) because it is impossible for God to lie (Hebrews 6:18), Jesus said the His Word is Truth (John 17:17), and the Scriptures were written by God (2 Peter 1:20-21). So we at CBSM unashamedly hold to, love, and boldly live the full inerrancy of God’s Word. This sermon explains what inerrancy is, explores the Word for where God claims inerrancy, and takes a look at problem passages where people claim mistakes in the Bible. Check it out!

Last night was a “fall break” night for most of the school’s in our area. I’m so encouraged that we have a student ministry filled with students who still come to worship Jesus and hear from His Word even on nights that many of their friends are gone on vacation or hanging out at home. Satan may want us to take a Wednesday off…but Jesus deserves our worship every Wednesday!
