This was the most requested sermon of our “You Asked For It” series. About once a month I hear the question “What’s so wrong with saying certain words? There are two relationships teenagers have to master in life, their relationship with Jesus and their relationship with their spouse. Their relationship with Jesus must be mastered now and for all of life, and of course their relationship with their spouse will be later. This study is all about how a relationship with Jesus through the gospel will get them ready for a godly marriage down the road. Their focus should not be a dating, but on marriage. Here is our latest “You Asked For It” sermon series study. This particular night was spent on the question “How do I talk to my friends about Jesus?” You asked for it, so here you go. The first part of the message I tried to prove how everyone is wanting the gospel, then I walked our students through our CBSM version of the Romans Road, and then we took some Q&A.

To spark some curiosity for our summer series called “You Asked For it”, we held an Anything Goes Q&A. We had questions come up from tattoos, to making out, to homosexuality, to suicide, to atheism, etc. We did our absolute best to answer them biblically. Feel free to let us know your thoughts!

In my absence to Beach Camp with our middle schoolers, I asked 2012 CBSM Grad, David Munoz, to come speak to our remaining middle schoolers, high schoolers, and college students. David did a phenomenal job of practically talking about movies, wisdom in watching movies, and biblical truth when it comes to content. David has been an avid movie buff for years including winning a free pass for an entire year to a local theater. Because of David’s wisdom and heart to follow Jesus, this was the perfect topic for him to address.
