As Capshaw Baptist is holding our 2nd annual “Global Impact Celebration” Missions Conference this week till Sunday, I wanted to update you on everything that CBSM will be doing from now until then.

Wednesday Night: March 2nd
CBSM will be meeting with the rest of the church in our gymnasium area for a ton of free food from 5:00 – 6:00pm. If you’re bringing your family, then bring some food to contribute! Then at 6:30pm, we’ll all meet and sit together in the main auditorium of the church for the epic opening event of this GIC Conference. You will experience an awesome light show, aired-up globes bouncing around the room, unbelievable excitement, African drum performance, around 30 missionaries from all over the planet and our nation, passionate worship, and a challenging message from one of the premier speakers on missions and the gospel. This will last until 8:00pm. We want all of our CBSM students here!

Thursday Night: March 3rd
CBSM will be joining the rest of the church for our 2nd GIC worship service with more excitement, music, and yet another challenging message from another preacher who focuses on missions and evangelism. Don’t miss this!

Friday Night: March 4th
CBSM will meet together (just us this time) in our gymnasium area from 6:30 – 8:00pm. We’re going to feed you supper, and you’re going to hear from one of my best friends who is going over to Niger, West Africa this year. You will hear him talk about what to do if you’re called to be a full-time missionary, how to be involved in short-term mission trips throughout your life, and how you can be a missionary every day for Christ. Then from 8:00 – 10:00pm, we’ll watch a movie together on the missions testimony of Jim Elliot called “End of the Spear.” So if you’re especially interested or curious in the life and ministry of a missionary…come to this!

Saturday night: March 5th
CBSM will join the rest of Capshaw for a “Night of Praise” led by our church’s rockin worship team led by Pastor Brandon Watkins from 6:30 – 8:00pm.

Sunday morning: March 6th:
Jody Fox (CBSM Speaker on Missions) will teach at both 9:00am and 10:30am small group times on Evangelism, Church Planting, and Missions. He’ll show you how it is biblically important, and he’ll show you how its supposed to be done.

We want all of our CBSM regulars, visitors, guests, friends, and members to be at all of these incredible GIC Events!
