This Wednesday night, we’re going to be kicking-off a brand new awesome series we’re calling “BEST BOOK EVER” which is all about the Doctrine of Scripture (understanding the Bible). This Wednesday night will be all about how to understand the one key piece of information that makes sense of the entire Bible. Since we all are wanting to understand God’s Word and what its about even more…and our friends are wanting the same thing…this will be a super helpful night!

Here’s what you need to know for this week…

STORYLINE Wednesday Worship (6:00 – 8:00pm)
This Wednesday, I’ll be preaching from Luke 24 on “Best Book Ever: So its really not all about me?”

FRAMEWORK Sunday School (9:15 – 10:15am)
This Sunday, we will all meet in the student building at 9:15am for announcements and then we’ll go to all of our small group rooms to hang out and talk about how God has been working on our lives from last Wednesday’s message and during the past week.

STUDENT MINISTRY TEAMS (SMTs) Sunday Evening (6:30 – 7:30pm)
Make sure to check with your SMT leaders to know when and where your team is meeting.

EVENTS
September 17-18: CBSM GIRLS ONLY ALL-NIGHTER. All of our CBSM girls are invited to this epic event! Talk to any of our junior or senior CBSM girls for more details.

October 29-31: CBSM DNOW 2010. You’ve GOT to set-aside this weekend on your calendar, free it up, and be here. DNOW weekend is insanely amazing!

January 14-17: CBSM SKI TRIP 2011. Reserve this date on your calendar as we’ll be going to SUGAR MOUNTAIN in Boone, North Carolina to ski it up! Your $100 deposit and filled-out registration card is due BY Wednesday, October 13. Then your remaining balance of $250 is due BY Wednesday, December 8. And our mandatory Ski Trip meeting for everyone going is Sunday, December 5. The full $350 cost includes two days of skiing, basic/necessary rentals, lift tickets, transportation, all meals once in NC, and your official CBSM Ski Trip tshirt. Students will need to pay for 2 meals going up and 2 meals coming home. We will have small group Bible studies at night.
