CBSM students, parents, and small group leaders:
Praise God for how He used yall to reach out to your friends to bring in over 170 teenagers this last Wednesday! Talk to those friends and get them back this Wednesday. We’ll keep talking about MOTI (Man on the Island) to see where he will go when he dies…and why. Specifically this Wednesday we’ll be talking about whether or not he is INNOCENT for his sin. Is he sinful? What could he possibly be doing wrong on a deserted island all by himself? In fact, I’m challenging you to bring in the SINNERS from school you can possibly find. Bring in those girls and those guys who seem like they have NO CONSCIENCE. Bring them in…and let’s see what God does in their lives. This Wednesday will also be our HUGE PUSH for the the BACK 2 SCHOOL BASH next Wednesday!

Here’s what you need to know for this week…

STORYLINE Wednesday Worship (6:00 – 8:00pm)
This Wednesday, we’ll continue our new series called “Man on the Island” with the first message “Is MOTI innocent?” You’ll love this series as it will challenge you in missions and evangelism!

FRAMEWORK Sunday School (9:15 – 10:15am)
This Sunday, we will all meet in the student building at 9:15am and then go to your small group rooms for hanging out, chillin, fellowship, discussion, and application from Wednesday night’s message.

MINISTRY TEAMS Sunday Evening (6:30 – 7:30pm)
Most of our student ministry teams meet on Sunday nights from 6:30-7:30pm. But not all! Make sure you contact your SMT leader every week to see when and where you are meeting!

EVENTS
August 25: BACK TO SCHOOL BASH. Our Back To School Bash will be NEXT Wednesday night. We have ordered the coolest INFLATABLE GAMES we could find. We have a cookout ready for everyone who comes. And then we’ll pack erbuddy into the student building for an epic worship service with everyone who comes. The cost is FREE. Just get your friends there!

October 29-31: CBSM DNOW 2010. You’ve GOT to set-aside this weekend on your calendar, free it up, and be here. DNOW weekend is insanely amazing!

January 14-17: CBSM SKI TRIP 2011. Reserve this date on your calendar as we’ll be going to SUGAR MOUNTAIN in Boone, North Carolina to ski it up!
