CBSM students, parents, and small group leaders:
Jesus has been rockin and rollin the summer for CBSM. I’ve been amazed at over 100 students going on mission trips this summer, our Wednesday nights being more highly attended than ever over the summer, and the spiritual growth we are seeing. It is SURELY not about the numbers, but it is about the crowd of people who come to learn more about Him, worship Him, and grow in Him! So praise God CBSM for how He has been using you to reach your friends for Christ!

Here’s what you need to know for this week…
STORYLINE Wednesday Worship (6:00 – 8:00pm)
This Wednesday, we’ll continue our summer-long series through the book of Psalms with a sermon on “iWorship: on Mission.” This will be all about how we need to continue to stay involved in missions and evangelism even when we are not on trips…but we are here at home still called to reach the world for Christ!
FRAMEWORK Sunday School (9:15 – 10:15am)
This Sunday, we will all meet in the student building at 9:15am and then hear from our CBSM intern JUSTIN NETTLES who will teach us the Word of God.
MINISTRY TEAMS Sunday Evening (6:30 – 7:30pm)
Pretty much all of our SMT’s have been postponed through the summer, and they’ll kick back up in August.

Only by His grace,
Chip DeanStudent Ministries Pastor
Hello Pastor Chip,
My name is Velma Bell and I am writing because I have a 22 year old son who is suffering with depression. He has been this way for a long time and I was hoping that you might be able to council him. I have hear you preach and I know how much you put into the childrens ministry. He needs help and I do not know where to turn at this point. I want to make sure that any help he does receive is Biblical and of God.
Sincerely,
Velma Bell
Hey Velma, I would be more than happy to talk to and counsel your son. I will definitely point him to Jesus. How and when can I help?
Only by His grace,
Chip
