CBSM students, parents, and leaders:
We’re coming off of one SUPER AWESOME Sunday as we had over 1000 with us for Easter worshipping Jesus all together. Many were saved. Several were baptized. And Jesus got all the glory! I’m crazy pumped about this Wednesday as we start the book of Job which is all about going through hard times, being afflicted, suffering, and remaining faithful to God. Continue to do a great job of bringing all your friends, but especially think of those that may be hurting, going through hard times, and have many questions about God in it. Remember your BASIC and ADVANCE second deposits are due this Sunday as well. Check below for details!

Here’s what you need to know for this week…

STORYLINE Wednesday Worship (6:00 – 8:00pm)
This Wednesday we’ll kick-off a brand spanking new series on the book of Job called “Affliction”. I just saw the Clash of the Titans movie, so we’ll probably talk about it as it relates to Job…a crazy comparison! We’ll have pizza for sale for just $1 a slice as always. We’ll continue on with our “minute to win it” games. And of course we’ll have some intense worship all throughout the night…as always! Bring all your unchurched/unsaved friends…especially reach out to those who are hurting from suffering and bring them!

FRAMEWORK Sunday School (9:15 – 10:15am)
This Sunday, we will meet in the student building at 9:15am for announcements, and then go to our small group rooms to discuss what God taught us and did in our lives on Wednesday night and through the week.

MINISTRY TEAMS Sunday Evening (6:30 – 7:30pm)
This Sunday night our Student Ministry Teams will be in full-force, so make sure to contact your SMT leader for your team meeting time, place, and instructions!

EVENTS
April 23 – 24: CBSM All-Nighter ($40). Turn in your registration card and $40 by this Sunday, April 11 and your spot will be reserved for our CBSM All-Nighter. We will meet at the church at 7pm. That night we will have an intense worship service, go roller-skating, play laser tag, have all you can eat pizza, go play putt-putt, and then an all you can eat pancake breakfast…all for only $40 as we ride around in charter buses. We have 200 spots open. You and all your friends are invited.

May 31 – June 5: CBSM Camp Week at the BEACH ($325). This is going to be an awesome week of missions and worship at the beach at our own retreat center. Your $150 deposit to save your spot is due by the end of March (this Wednesday). Many other details are on our blog. Just type in “CBSM Beach Camp.” We have 72 total spots available. We want you and all your friends to go!

June 26 – July 2: BASIC Detroit Mission Trip ($350). Check our blog for full details. BASIC is a mission trip to Detroit , MI for training students in missions and evangelism. It is for students currently in 8th grade (in Spring 2010) and up. Important BASIC dates: parents meeting (Feb 21), application due (Feb 24), first $100 deposit due (March 10), second $100 deposit due (April 11), and remaining balance of $150 due (May 13). All prerequisites, requirements, qualifications, and expectations are on the BASIC Application attached to this email. I pray all eligible CBSM students will go.

July 17 – 24: ADVANCE Mission Trip to San Diego ($750). Check our blog for full details. ADVANCE is a mission trip to San Diego , CA for challenging students in missions and evangelism. It is for students currently in 10th grade (in Spring 2010) and up. Important ADVANCE dates: parents meeting and application due (noon Feb 7), first $100 deposit due (Feb 17), $300 deposit due (April 11), and remaining $350 balance due (July 11). All prerequisites, requirements, qualifications, and expectations are on the ADVANCE Application attached to this email. I pray all eligible CBSM students will go.
