CBSM students, parents, and leaders:
I just got back from a BASIC Mission Trip planning meeting in Detroit last weekend, and it went great! If you are going to BASIC this summer with us in Detroit, you are going to LOVE it! If you are going to BASIC in the coming years…its going to get even better every year! Aight, so for this week…we’ll be finishing up our series on the Doctrine of Providence. It will be a strong challenge to end it out…just warning you! Also remember to get in your Beach Camp deposit and registration super soon. Your all-nighter registration and $40 is due April 11. And if you’re wanting to go on BASIC or ADVANCE mission trips this summer…you’ll need to talk to me. Lastly, remember that this Sunday is Easter Sunday! Our service schedule is different. We’ll have TWO worship services: at 8am and 11am. Coming to either one is fine, but if you can’t decide then just come at 8am to make more room for the 11am visitor crowd. Our Sunday School Small Groups will be at 9:45am (one time change for Easter only), and we’ll all stay in the student building for some worship and Q&A from the Doctrine of Providence. Make sure to email me your questions from this series, and I’ll answer them this Sunday.
Be sure to check out your NETMA for this week’s reading assignment: 3.28.10 (pdf)
Here’s what you need to know for this week…
STORYLINE Wednesday Worship (6:00 – 8:00pm)
This Wednesday, we’ll conclude our series on “the Doctrine of Providence” with one last look at “How am I supposed to pray to a providential God?” It will be a very challenging night for teenagers dealing with all kinds of issues in life, and with whatever stage of life they are in. Be investing in the lives of your unchurched/unsaved friends, and get them here. We want to show and share Jesus with them! As always, the worship will be intense, and the night will be enterntaining.
FRAMEWORK Sunday School (9:15 – 10:15am)
This Sunday only (for Easter) we will meet at 9:45am (one time change) and we will stay in the student building for worship and Q&A from your questions on the Doctrine of Providence series. Email, text, or facebook your questions to me from our series on God and evil, God’s will, and prayer.
MINISTRY TEAMS Sunday Evening (6:30 – 7:30pm)
We will not have any Student Ministry Teams this coming Sunday night because it is Easter Sunday night, and we want you spending it with your family!
