Student Ministry Teams Explanations (mp3)

Here are our Student Ministry Teams (SMT’s) explained…

 HELLO TEAM

Purpose: Greets first time visiting students.  Fills-out new student information card.  Writes and mails postcard to visiting students.  Gives information card to Pastor Chip so he can write a letter to them, give them a free item from our café card, and invite them back.

Students Needed: 4 students are needed so that 2 students can be greeters on Wednesdays, 2 students can be greeters on Sundays, and all 4 can write postcards.

Meeting Time: Sunday nights from 5 – 6:15pm to write post cards.  

MISSIONS TEAM

Purpose:  Go to the Huntsville Downtown Rescue Mission to tutor elementary aged underprivileged children in various school subjects, loves them through Christ, and shares Christ with them.

Students Needed: 5 students

Meeting Time: Sundays 4:15 – 6:30pm

 BAND

Purpose: Leads student ministry in worshipping God through Christ every Wednesday.

Students Needed: 6 students

Meeting Time: Practice on Sunday nights at 4pm, and play on Wednesdays at 6:30pm                        

ENVIRONMENTS

Purpose: To design and produce creative environments to make our worship services come alive and our small group rooms comfortable.

Students Needed: 6 students

Meeting Time: Sundays from 5:00 – 6:15pm

 MEDIA

Purpose: Runs computer, video, lights, and sound every Wednesday worship service.

Students Needed: 4 for cpu/video, 2 for lights, and 2 for sound.

Meeting Time: Wednesdays at 5pm.

 PUPPETS
Purpose: To minister to our children’s ministry with the use of puppets.

Students Needed: 6 students

Meeting Time: Sundays from 5:00 – 6:15pm

 DRAMA

Purpose: To minister to our youth and children through the use of dramas, skits, and human music videos

Students Needed: 6 students

Meeting Time: Sundays from 5:00 – 6:15pm

 SHARP

Purpose: To make our student ministry facilities look excellent and impressive.

Students Needed:  6 students
Meeting Time:  Wednesdays at 5:00pm

 VIDEO GAMES

Purpose: To manage, police, and protect our CBSM Arcade area.

Students Needed: 4 (2 students rotating every other month)

Meeting Time: 6pm on Wednesdays

 SPREAD

Purpose: To canvas neighborhoods with prayer for transformation and information about CBSM.

Students Needed: 6 students

Meeting time: Sundays from 5:00 – 6:15pm
